Be aware, Ojai, is at the end of the line for door-to-door shuttles from LAX. It is not uncommon for bad traffic, and multiple stops in communities all along the route to result in a 5 hour ride, longer than most flights into LA.

The Airporter tourist buses run 8 times a day to, and from, LAX, and make just a single stop at the Oxnard airport, with 1 3/4 hours scheduled for the trip. Airporter fare is $45. Taxi connection between Ojai and the Ventura shuttle is 20 to 30 minutes, with a discounted rate of $50 = $95 total price.
